Terms of service

“Bloom UPSC”, “we”, “our” — the team that operates mocks.bloomupsc.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. The product is designed for candidates preparing for the UPSC civil services examination.

Sign-in runs through Google OAuth. You’re responsible for keeping your Google account secure — if someone signs in with your Google account, they can see your Bloom UPSC attempts and results.

One account per person. Do not share your account or your partner coupon code with others; each code is intended for a single learner.

• Access to mocks is granted by redeeming a partner code or purchasing a plan when available.
• Partner codes have individual usage caps, expiry dates, and may grant access to all mocks, a bundle, or a specific subset. We show you what a code unlocks after you redeem it.
• Redeemed codes are non-transferable and non-refundable. A code may be revoked if we detect fraud or abuse.

What you create (your answers, confidence labels, timings, notes) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it so we can produce your results and improve the product (e.g. anonymised aggregate difficulty data).

What we create — every question stem, option, explanation, approach card, and solution PDF on this site is original work by the Bloom UPSC team. It is copyrighted and licensed to you for personal study only. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or re-publish any question, explanation, or PDF, in full or in part, in any medium.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically download our content, including for the purpose of training AI models.
• Post screenshots or screen-recordings of questions publicly (to YouTube, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, etc.) without written permission. Private study notes with friends are fine.

We take copyright enforcement seriously. If you spot our content republished elsewhere, email us and we’ll file takedowns.

Don’t:

• Attempt to circumvent authentication, access-control, or rate-limiting.
• Brute-force partner codes or any other input.
• Use the site to harass other users (we don’t currently expose user-to-user channels, but the rule stands).
• Submit automated traffic beyond normal human use. We reserve the right to block IPs and accounts engaged in abuse.

We aim to keep the site available 24/7 but we don’t guarantee zero downtime. Maintenance windows, provider outages (Supabase, Google, Vercel), or bugs may cause temporary interruptions. Your saved attempts and results are preserved across such interruptions.

Timers continue running while the site is unreachable from your device. If an outage causes you to lose significant time inside a mock, email us and we’ll extend or reset the attempt.

Bloom UPSC is not affiliated with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or any government body. Our mocks are practice material produced by a private team. We make no guarantee — express or implied — that practising with our mocks will result in qualifying any stage of the civil services examination. Your results are your own.

Launch access via partner codes is free — no refund is applicable. For any paid plans introduced in future, the refund policy published alongside the plan at time of purchase will apply.

We may add, change, or retire mocks and features over time. We’ll announce material changes on the dashboard or via email. We won’t delete your past attempts or results without notice.

You can delete your account any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a notice and a chance to respond except in cases of clear fraud, abuse, or legal risk.

To the extent permitted by law, Bloom UPSC’s total liability arising out of your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (which, for partner-coupon users, is zero). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost exam opportunities, lost study time, or lost data.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
